New fuel station at Horn Island now open

Northern Australia marine transport company Sea Swift is proud to announce the opening of its new fuel station on Horn Island.

The new Sea Swift Horn Island Fuel Station, which is open seven days a week, is located opposite the local supermarket and post office.

Sea Swift General Manager Queensland Operations Peter Domenighini said: “The new site is located away from our current operation, making it safer for the public to access.

“It is also more environmentally friendly, with above ground self-bunded tanks to provide additional protection against potential fuel leaks contaminating the environment.

“The area where the public fuel their vehicles is also covered, providing protection from the weather.”

Mr Domenighini added that there is no need to pre-purchase fuel cards at the new service station, with individuals able to use their debit or credit card.

“The new fuel delivery system is also fully automated, allowing for longer trading hours,” he said.

The new Sea Swift Horn Island Fuel Station operates 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.
