Thomas and Baldwin join forces to launch innovative new Cairns real estate agency

Well-established Cairns real estate agents Carol Thomas and Morganne Baldwin have joined forces to launch a ground-breaking new agency.

Thomas Baldwin Boutique Real Estate is an innovative agency which breaks with the real estate tradition of having a shopfront, instead providing a ‘virtual office’ for its clients.

Carol and Morganne have both forged an enviable reputation in the local real estate market over many years, and now bring a fresh approach to buying and selling property in the Cairns region.

Carol – who has many years of experience in real estate – says the agency’s virtual office approach ensures a more personal experience for buyers and sellers, while also keeping costs down for clients.

“We’re delighted to officially launch Thomas Baldwin Boutique Real Estate, and both Morganne and I are really looking forward to working with the local community to provide their real estate needs,” she said.

“We’re passionate about providing the best possible service both to sellers and buyers, and we’re very much people-focused.

“Technology is now so advanced it allows agents such as ourselves to work remotely and connect with sellers and buyers in a variety of virtual ways – internet, email, social media, blogs, smartphones, tablets, and so on.

“These days, the internet is delivering the overwhelming number of buyer enquiries, and from the comfort of their own home, buyers go online to do their house hunting.

“Once they find something of interest, they then can call us to arrange an inspection – today, very few buyers ever step inside a real estate office. As a result, it is no longer a must for a shop front office.

“Our personal foundations are based on health and family then business, and we’re no different in our approach to real estate.

“It’s all about understanding the people and families we’re working with, and how buying and selling will impact on their lives.

“This includes choosing the best time for open homes, arranging meetings at their home for their convenience, and what else works best for the seller or buyer.”

Morganne said the biggest bugbear for clients that she’s found in her real estate career is delayed response time.

“It can be a massive frustration when buyers and sellers receive delay after delay when trying to navigate the real estate process,” Morganne said.

“We’re 100 per cent focused on speed of response, because we understand the industry, and genuinely care about the people and properties we’re dealing with.

“We want to treat people well, so we tailor our packages to suit the need of each and every individual client.”

Carol said Thomas Baldwin would also be operating where possible on a paperless basis to ensure the promised speed of response and reduction in costs for clients, while limiting the company’s environmental impact.
